Annual Fire Inspections
Its that time of year again, time for the fire alarm inspections. The Lisle-Woodridge Fire Department has made it mandatory that all units have their smoke detectors checked for sensitivity. This testing will be done at the same time as the fire alarm inspections to save all Owners from having to make their units available an additional time.
Please review the schedule below for your building. Any Owner who is currently renting their unit is responsible for providing this information to their tenants. Celtic will not be sending notifications to the renters. In addition, if your unit is currently vacant, you are still responsible to provide access.
If you are unable to be home, you may provide your key to the Board so that they can open your door and make sure that the unit is secured after the inspections. If you would like, you may also ask a family member or trusted neighbor to ensure that the unit is open and available.
These inspections are mandatory and there are no alternative dates. The Association has to pay for each scheduled appointment. Any Unit Owner who does not allow entry will be responsible to make another appointment and will be billed for the cost of that rescheduled appointment, up to a possible $400.00 charge. Please email Trailsofabbeywood@gmail.com for any issues.
